What is brow Permanent Make Up (PMU) ?

Brow PMUis a semi permanent tattoo for your eyebrows. It comes in many different styles and is customized to each and every client.

It is an amazing Service for those who want an entirely new shape, want to define the shape they currently have, or for clients that have no eyebrow hairs at all.

How long does it last?

How long brow PMU lasts is determined by what type of skin you have. People that have normal to dry skin generally retain pigment better than someone with oily skin. Therefor a person with oily skin may need more touch ups.

Generally, it will last anywhere from 2-3 years without touch ups. However yearly color boosts are required to maintain the pigment, meaning it will essentially last as long as you’d like, with the maintenance of course

Since PMU is a semi-permanent procedure, if you were to skip color boosts and touch ups, it would gradually fade away on its own.

Essentially, brow PMU will last however long you want it to, if you continue to get touch ups and color boosts you will continue to have PMU brows.

What style can I get?

At Body Haus, we offer 2 styles of brow PMU, Combination Brow & Nano Powder Brow.

$475 |Combination Brow starts with hair like strokes using a blade to mimic real hairs, beginning at the start of your brow closest to your nose. It then meets with nano shading, otherwise known as. machine shading or “powder brow”, to create a natural looking , yet still defined enough brow.

$450 |Nano Powder Brow, uses all machine shading, starting at the tail end being the darkest and gradually lightens at the beginning of the brow giving them a pixelated/ makeup like appearance. This style heals into a soft, beautifully defined brow.

$65 | 6-8 Week Touch Up each initial appointment requires a touch up in order to be considered complete. Microblading is a 2 step process. This touch up will finalize your brows and fix / adjust any minor imperfections that can often happen during the healing from your first session. It is normal for there to be “blotchy” areas where pigment may of not retained at all. This is why the touch up is mandatory in order for your Microblading service to be complete.

$150 |Yearly Color Boost is recommended about every year or so to freshen up and maintain the pigment in your PMU brows. This service is reserved for those who have had their initial permanent makeup services done by a provider of Body Haus. We recommend to wait until your brows have approximately 50-40% of their pigment left before you schedule this appointment. We do not want to deposit pigment too often into the brows, this can often lead to pmu makeup looking like a solid tattoo, and not fine line strokes, or pixelated.
